The TAC Safety-RX is designed to comply with ANSI Z87.1 standards for design, construction, eye protection, impact and penetration resistance to meet OSHA and (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment standards.

The Opticals comply with the Mechanical Strength standard EN166. The prescription lenses are marked with their EN166 conformance and optical class for: energy impact, Ultraviolet Standard, colour recognition and shade.

The TAC Safety-RX is a modular designed frame. The basic frame is supplied as pictured above with conventional arms. With the press of a button the arms can be replace with a fully adjustable headband to hold the frame in place turning them into a low profile safety goggle. If the TAC Safety-RX is used outdoors there is the option to click into place a padded gasket that will create a seal around each eye to keep out wind, dust and debris. The frame is made from TR-90 a special material that is not affected by extreme temperatures. The frame is finished in none reflective rubberized matt black. The arms have soft rubber inserts for all day comfort and grip.

NOTE: The TAC Safety-RX is supplied as a pair of glasses (As pictured in the main image) and can be upgraded from the optional upgrade list.
